Elf Seamstress for Hire

That's right. For hire. You can see two examples of my handiwork at home.earthlink.net/~ainaechoiriel Once I have a pattern (which I can tweak as necessary) and the fabric, it usually doesn't take too long to make a dress or costume, depending on how intricate it is.

If you would like your own costume for the Return of the King premier, and don't feel you can sew it, give me a ring, via e-mail, and we'll discuss what you might like.

Take a look at LOTR Costume and poke around until you find a costume that suits your fancy. I based my Sealonging dress off Arwen's Rose Dress, for example. Also look in the Scrapbook there to see what other fans have made. We can build from there and discuss terms.

Updated my Web Site

But only a little. It's still pretty much bare bones. But I added my other two stories, Namesake and Lure of the Darkness.

Halloween

I wore my new dress again for the holiday. And it was quite a hit. I won third place at a costume contest at work, and finally got a good picture for the web page: http://home.earthlink.net/~ainaechoiriel/sealonging.html.

I was hoping to get a lot of trick-or-treaters since I now live in a house, but no. I got three. And one of them had to be coaxed into the yard.

Despairing then, I went up to my other sister's house where all nephews and niece were. Then we went to a restaurant where yet another sister's husband was working. Someone in the bar side of the restaurant saw me walk through and said "Wow." That was pretty cool.

After that, I went with a friend to another friend's house to watch "Hallowee." Boy, have modern movies spoiled us. This one was tame compared to some horror movies I've seen.
